The symptoms of Alzheimer’s are sometimes difficult to attribute to something so serious. When the symptoms of memory and intellectual difficulties occur, a neuropsychologist should try to determine whether these are due to Alzheimer’s or a related dementia.
There is as yet no medical test that can diagnose Alzheimer’s disease. Only at autopsy can an examination of the brain prove dementia.

Many people just stop driving after dark, but don’t inform their families or caregivers. Loved ones need to watch for changed behaviors like this.
There are 10 signs that are symptoms of Alzheimer’s that can be found at theAlzheimer’s Association website.
Caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s can be a very difficult job, both physically and emotionally. Others need to be sensitive to this and offer to take some of the burden from time to time.
